About Rebecca

I am just graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Fine Art with an emphasis in Computer Animation. My style is bright, colorful, and explosive. I want to focus on concept creation in visual development. By doing environments, lighting, or coloring for scenes on productions.

Picking up the pen

Ever since I was a little girl, I was always drawn to creating things: painting, crafting, sculpting, anything I could create I would. We talk about things that can inspire us and I find it all around me in the people I see, the friends I make, and the places I go. Why look at a wall and see concrete when you can find faces hidden in the cracks. It’s why it’s no surprise I took to art like a fish in water.

Traveling is always something I loved and being able to go explore the world around me. Seeing the mountains in Colorado for the first time took my breathe away. I had no idea something could be so large and beautiful. The art I consume and want to create is wondrous and magical; while we may think we can’t find that in our day-to-day world we can if we look for it.

Have you ever visited a location that made you stop and lose your breath, a place that fills you with wonder and excitement? My goal is to get you to look at my work in wonder and to look deeper and find more details within. I focus on bright and colorful pieces that convey emotion and wonder, working to bring stories to life using unique and creative techniques. My focus is fantastical magical work and building characters and worlds that speak to the audience. When you look at my work, I want you to be transported back to that time where all you could do was stare in awe. I want my work to inspire people just like others have inspired me.

If you take one thing from this, understand that there is art all around you and living can become your own adventure. All it takes is some imagination.
